Hakata-ori textiles are traditional silk textiles that have a history of more than 780 years. With origins traced back to China, Hakata-ori is characterized by its meticulous weaving technique, resulting in a fabric with thickness and resilience.
Adored as obi sash for traditional Japanese attire like kimonos and yukatas, the fabric is also used for dresses, bags, and a variety of other products today.
