We are Shinohara Textile Co., Ltd., based in Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture, which boasts the top share of denim production. Starting from the manufacturing of kasuri textiles in 1907, we have a history of 118 years in denim weaving, with a corporate philosophy of weaving high-quality fabrics. We aim to create a manufacturing plant with low environmental impact by implementing energy-saving production equipment and lighting to reduce electricity usage in the factory, as well as installing solar panels for self-generated power. We are constantly developing new materials using the latest air-jet looms, rapier looms, and shuttle looms. We excel in developing basic denim fabrics that focus on the origin of raw materials, as well as fabrics with looks and textures not previously seen in denim, and environmentally friendly fabrics using regenerative cotton, TENCEL®, and upcycled materials. We are also working towards obtaining GOTS and GRS corporate certifications, aiming for acquisition this summer.
